Add Activity List to Service Revision

This document explains how you manually add an activity list to a service revision. An activity list may have been defaulted if you used a service group with a standard set of activities. The document also explains how you confirm standard activities.

Use this instruction when you want to add activities that should be performed during service revision entry. These activities are normally different types of approvals that are required while a service revision is being developed.

Outcome

One or more activities that need to be performed and approved are connected to the service revision.

When all activities that are connected to the service revision have been approved, the revision status is set to Definite (status 20 or 30).

The service revision activity list is saved in the AMODAL table.

Before you start

Follow These Steps

  1. Start 'Service Revision. Open' (ECS300/B).

  2. Highlight the revision to which you want to connect new activities and select option 33='Activity List' to display 'Service Revision. Connect Activity' (ECS333/B).

  3. Select a predefined activity and select New to display the E panel.

  4. Specify a responsible and a planned finish date (mandatory information). Also specify a department and the planned hours for the activity (optional information). Press Enter to save.

    The new activity will receive status 10, which means that the activity is preliminary and needs to be approved before the service revision's status is raised to Definite.

    Note that activities that were copied from the service group automatically receive status 05, which means that they need to be raised to status 10 before the responsible user may approve the activity.

Confirm Defaulted Activities

  1. Start 'Service Revision. Open' (ECS300/B).

  2. Highlight the service revision with defaulted activities and select option 33='Activity List' to display 'Service Revision. Connect Activity' (ECS333/B).

    A list with all connected activities is displayed. Those that need to be activated are displayed with status 05.

  3. Open a defaulted activity to display the E panel.

  4. Specify a responsible and a planned finish date (mandatory information). Also specify a department and the planned hours for the activity (optional information). Press Enter to save.

    The activity will now have received status 10.
