This document explains how you define material handling charges for different item groups and connect these to a maintenance agreement.
Use this instruction when you have selected material handling charge method 1 for a maintenance agreement. If the material handling charges are not defined, the general material handling charge is used instead.
Certain item groups are defined with a handling charge that deviates from the general handling charge. The handling charge is connected to a specific customer.
The file with information about material handling charges (ACUAGA) is updated.
When you have defined material handling charges for item groups, these charges may be used instead of the general handling charges.
Start 'Maint Agrmnt. Open' (COS410/B).
Select an appropriate sorting order to identify the correct agreement.
The recommended alternatives are 1= Agreement, 2= Agreement type.
On the B-panel, select the agreement to define charges for and select option 15 = 'Charge/item group' to display program 'Maint Agrmt. Connect Handling Charge-Item Group' (COS415).
On the B-panel, select a predefined item group to define a new handling charge for. Select 'New Record' to proceed to the E-panel.
On the E-panel, specify the new handling charge as a percentage of the material price. Press Enter.
The percentage may exceed 100%.
Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have defined a handling chagre for all desired item groups.
