Before you can manage, configure, and perform management tasks, you must start the grid. The grid node with a green arrow icon indicates a start state, while a red box icon indicates a stop state. The same icon status are used to indicate the status of the grid applications.
Use these guidelines when you start or stop the EC application:
Do not invoke stop from Monitor Application page. That is, right-click EC<version> application > Monitor Application.
Do not invoke start until after what you have stopped has completed its stop process.
To know when EC application has completely stopped, check that all EC nodes are not listed in the Grid Management page. See, Infor ION Grid Administration Guide.
When EC is started successfully, you can perform manage, configure, and management tasks.
The EC Management page is displayed. You can now perform EC Server control and administration.
For more information on EC Management, see Infor Enterprise Collaborator Administration Guide.
