Curve Graph
When the Analysis Type field is set to Curve Graph, the data is displayed as curve graph in the graph section. The curve graph indicates the cumulative booking changes for a date range. This graph uses a lead time countdown to show how bookings change as the selected date or period approaches.
Based on the selected value, this data is displayed on the graph:
- The X axis represents the countdown Lead Time field on the Selection panel. Under the X axis, the month and the year is displayed.
- The Y axis displays the value of the primary metric.
- If a value is specified in Secondary field in the Metric section, the secondary metric is displayed as line graph on the Y axis. This axis is displayed to the right of the graph.
- If you select a date after the current date, the forecasted values for the metric are displayed.
- If you specify the dimension in the Dimension field, the categories of the dimension are displayed in the bar graph. The category with the highest value is displayed at the bottom of the bar.
- If the forecast data is not available for the specified dimension, only the past dates are displayed.
- The comparison data is displayed based on the periods such as last week, last month, and
last year. You can also specify up to three custom dates for comparison. If the breakdown
is set to:
- Day: The application compares the value to the same weekday in the past.
- Date range: The application compares the last day of the date range to the last day of the same period in the past.
