Working with Functional Area Variables

  1. Select Design > Approval Process > Functional Area Variable on the navigation bar and click New to create a new functional area. The New Functional Area Variable page is displayed.
    Note: Alternately, you can click the arrow option corresponding to an existing functional area variable to modify the functional area variable.
  2. Specify this information:
    Variable Name
    The name of the functional area variable.
    Description
    The description of the functional area variable.
    Insight
    The name of the Insight for which the functional area variable is created.
    Use for Job Position
    Select this check box if the functional area variable must be used exclusively for job positions.
    Object
    The object for which the functional area variable is created.
  3. Click Save to save a the functional area variable.
