Mitigation

The settings for mitigating violations.

You can also use these settings to create Global Packages. Use the Namespace Association option to add namespaces associated to this setting. See, Adding Namespaces.

In this section, select one of these options:

• Make compensatory controls mandatory for mitigation: The approvers must assign compensating controls to exclusions, when mitigating violations on the Violations page.
• Filter compensating control by rule: Compensating controls attached to the rules must be displayed, when mitigating violations.
