Data Retention Settings
Use this tab to configure the data retention settings.
You can also use these settings to create Global Packages. Use the Namespace Association option to add namespaces associated to this setting. See, Adding Namespaces.
- Monitored Data
Use this section to configure the Monitored data settings.
- Retain
- All the Monitored data are retained.
- Purge
- The Monitored data are retained for a specific time period and are purged thereafter. The time period to purge the Monitored data must be in reference to the date when the data was first available in the application.
- Number of days to retain the monitored Data
- The number of days to retain the Monitored data. Note: The number of days specified must be greater than or equal to 7 and less than or equal to 90.
The monitored data, after the specified days, is purged. For example, if the number of days to retain the monitored data is specified as 7, the monitored data is retained for only 7 days from the current date.
Note: If the Purge option is selected, only the Process Insight Transaction data is purged. The Authorizations Insight, Certification Manager Insight, and the Process Insight Master data is not purged.
- Rule Analysis
Use this section to configure the Rule Analysis settings.
- Retain
- All Rule Analyses are retained.
- Purge
- All Rule Analyses are retained for a specific time period and are purged thereafter. When you select this option, this field is displayed:
- Number of days to retain the rule analysis
- The number of days to retain rule analyses. Note: The number of days specified must be greater than or equal to 10 and less than or equal to 90.
All rule analyses, after the specified days, is purged. For example, if the number of days to retain all rule analyses is specified as 17, rule analyses is retained for only 17 days from the current date.
- What-ifs
Use this section to configure the What-if settings.
- Retain
- All the What-ifs are retained.
- Purge
- The What-ifs are retained for a specific time period and are purged thereafter. When you select this option, this field is displayed:
- Number of days to retain the what-ifs
- The number of days to retain the What-ifs. Note: The number of days specified must be greater than or equal to 7 and less than or equal to 90.
The What-ifs, after the specified days, is purged. For example, if the number of days to retain the What-ifs is specified as 7, the What-ifs are retained for only 7 days from the current date.
- Provisions
Use this section to configure the Provisions settings.
- Retain
- All the Provisions are retained.
- Purge
- The Provisions are retained for a specific time period and are purged thereafter. When you select this option, this field is displayed:
- Number of days to retain the provisions
- The number of days to retain the provisions. Note: The number of days specified must be greater than or equal to 7 and less than or equal to 90.
The Provisions, after the specified days, is purged. For example, if the number of days to retain the provisions is specified as 7, the provisions are retained for only 7 days from the current date.
- Certification Manager Data
Use this section to configure the process execution settings.
- Retain
- All the process executions are retained.
- Purge
- The process executions are retained for a specific time period and are purged thereafter. When you select this option, this field is displayed:
- Number of days to retain the process executions
- The number of days to retain the process executions. Note: The number of days specified must be greater than or equal to 7 and less than or equal to 90.
Process Executions, after the specified days, is purged. For example, if the number of days to retain Process Executions is specified as 7, the Process Executions are retained for only 7 days from the current date.
- All Personal Data
Use this section to configure the personal data settings.

- Retain
- All the personal data collected are retained.
- Purge
- The collected personal data are retained for a specific time period. When you select this option, this field is displayed:
- Number of days to retain the personal data collected
- The number of days to retain the personal data. Note: The number of days specified must be greater than zero.
The collected data, after the specified days, is purged. For example, if the number of days to retain the personal data collected is specified as 7, the collected personal data is retained for only 7 days from the current date.
