Creating a duplicate Rule Condition for cross objects

You can create a duplicate rule to compare the records across different objects.

  1. Click Design > Business Controls > Rule Books.
  2. Click the arrow option corresponding to the Process Insight rule book in which you want to create the new Process Insight Rule.
  3. Click New. The New Rule page is displayed.
  4. Click the Conditions tab.
  5. Select the Duplicate Rule - For Cross Objects template for creating the Rule.
  6. Specify these conditions. 
    Group 1
               Condition 1
                Value Set 1
                 Custom Party Master~Customer Name
                 Fuzzy matches
                Value Set 2
                 Supplier Party Master~Supplier Party Name
                 Fuzzy Match Settings
                 Threshold Min
                   80
                 Threshold Max
                   99
         and
                Condition 2
                 Value Set 1
                  Customer Party Master~Status
                  Does not equal
                 Value Set 2
                  Deleted
  7. Click Save.
The rule with this condition compares the Customer Party Master records with Supplier Party Master records.
