Data Analysis
Data streaming from various sources, in to the GRC application, through the Data Lake can be analyzed.
You must perform these tasks to analyze data:
- Review received data
Data received from an application can be reviewed and filter can be set to determine the objects that must be analyzed. The objects can be selected based on the Insight being reviewed.

Business controls monitor business processes. Business control comprises of:
- Condition library: A repository to create and maintain pre-defined conditions for a rule. Data is analyzed based on the pre-defined conditions.
- Rule books: A collection or group of rules. Rule books include, organize, and manage rules. Rule books can be categorized based on the Insight.
- Controls mapping: A functionality to map and set the filter related to business controls for data analysis.

Analysis can be performed to analyze live ERP data against pre-defined conditions in a rule. You can schedule an analysis at a later date or run an analysis immediately.

Violations are risks related to a business process. Violations are generated when live data from an ERP application is analyzed based on the predefined conditions in a rule.

Mitigation is a process of reducing the number of violations in an analysis by excluding the objects that generate violations. Mitigating violations helps in reducing the business risks.
