Prerequisites
GRC application must be configured before a user can log on to use the application.
Users assigned to the Administrator role must ensure that these requirements are met:
- Connection points and dataflows are added to the Infor ION Desk.
Connection point provides information that is used by ION to connect to applications. BODs, used to exchange information between the applications, are defined in the connection point. Data flow defines the direction of the data for inbound and outbound BODs.
See the relevant configuration guides for details.
- Appropriate roles are assigned in Infor Federation Services (IFS) to access the GRC application.
- Application Instance is created for the application that is being monitored.
Application Instances are connections between the Infor GRC application and the Data Lake. An Application Instance fetches the real time data from an ERP application to GRC.
- Data Source is created for the Application Instance.
Data source includes an application instance or a group of application instances that are used to monitor one or more application(s).
- Data is published and verified.
Data from an ERP must be published using initial load. The published data must be verified in the GRC application. (
). - Approval and Review Process templates are created.
These templates define the flow of an approval process for a provision and the review process for Certification Manager.
- Stage Library is created.
A stage library includes predefined approval stages of an Approval Process Templates.
See the GRC Online help for details.
