Deployment

You must prepare the application before deploying the local package.

Local packages can be deployed from the Self Service Portal.

  1. Navigate to Configuration Management > Local Packages on the Self Service portal.
  2. Select the local package that must be imported.
  3. Click Deploy Package. The Deploy Package window is displayed.
  4. Select the target tenant.
  5. Select the Generate Compare Report check box to run the Comparison report. This report compares the items in a package against the data and configuration in the target tenant.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Target Apps Organization to select the target application.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Review the package options.
  10. Click Submit
