General Information

Use this section to specify the general information when creating a functional area for Authorizations Insight for Infor.

Specify this information:

Name
The name for the functional area.
Description
The description of the functional area.
Insight
Authorizations Insight for Infor.
Functional Area Type
The category for which the Functional Area is created. Possible values:
  • Emergency Access
  • Job Position
  • Approval Process
Copy Functional Area From
The details of an existing functional area that must be copied for the new functional area.
Note: This field is displayed only when you select the Emergency Access or Approval Process option in the Functional Area Type field.
Data Source
The Data Source to be associated to the new functional area.
Note: This field is displayed only when you select the Job Position option in the Functional Area Type field.

You can click Save as Draft to save a draft version of the Functional Area or click Next to move to the Scope Definition tab.

Note: If you have selected the Job Position option in the Functional Area Type field, you must click Next for navigating to the Hierarchy Definition tab.
