Role Assignments
Select one of these options:
- Assign Roles
The new roles for the user. The Assign Role screen is displayed. Select Roles and click Apply.
- Assign Roles as another user
The roles of an existing user. The Add Roles as Another User screen displays these fields.
Note: This field is displayed only if the selected users are assigned roles from the selected application instance.- Application Instance
- The application instance linked with an existing user, whose roles are assigned to the new user.
- User
- The name of the user whose roles are assigned to the new user.
Click Apply.
- Assign Job Position
Roles assigned to an existing job position. The Assign Job Position screen is displayed. Select a Job Position and click Apply.
The Job Positions displayed are based on the selected Data Source.
Note: Administrators and Business Process Owners must consider the data security and the
privacy compliance requirements when assigning permissions to roles for accessing sensitive
data. Access provided without detailed review can be misused. Limited and fine-grained
access must be provided to users on the need to know and need to use basis. Faulty
implementation may lead to risk.
