Excluding users by user attributes in bulk

Users are considered as the objects that generate violations when the extracted data from an ERP application is analyzed against the rules. You can bulk exclude all such users by the user attributes to reduce the business risks.

To exclude users in a bulk by the user attributes:

  1. Select Design > Business Controls > Bulk Exclusion on the navigation bar.
  2. Click the Exclusions section.
  3. Click New to exclude objects.
  4. Select User Attributes.
  5. Select an attribute to exclude users.
    Possible values:
    • User Name
    • Email
    • First Name
    • Last Name
  6. Select an operator from the list to define the condition for the attribute.

    Possible values:

    • Containing
    • Not Containing
    • Equal To
    • Not Equal To
    • Starting With
    • Not Starting With
    • Ending With
    • Not Ending With
  7. Specify or select a value for the selected attribute. For example, to exclude users with the first name as John, select First Name as the User Attribute and specify John as the Value.
  8. Click Add. The users with the selected attribute are displayed in the table.
  9. Click the Valid To date to select a different expiry date from the calendar or retain as Never Expires. Select the Apply to All check box to set the same expiry date for all the excluded users.
