Functional Area list

Use the Functional Areas page to review the list of existing functional areas.

To access this page, select Design > Approval Process > Functional Area on the navigation bar.

You can review this information:

Functional Area name
The name of the functional area.
Description
The description for the functional area.
Insight
The name of the Insight for which the functional area is created.
Category
The category for which the functional area is created.
Status
The status of the functional area. Possible values:
  • Draft
  • Active
  • Inactive
  • Pending for Analysis
  • What-if Completed with Violations
  • What-if Completed without Violations
  • Failed
Data Source
The data source associated to the Functional Area.

You can also use this page to:

  • Create a functional area, using the New option.
  • Delete functional areas, using the Delete option.
    Note: This option is enabled only when you select at least one functional area to delete.
  • Modify a functional area, using the arrow option corresponding to the Functional Area Name column.
  • Mark a functional area as Active, using the Active option.
    Note: This option is enabled only when you select at least one functional area to enable.
  • Mark a functional area as Inactive, using the Inactive option.
    Note: This option is enabled only when you select at least one functional area to disable.
  • Import functional areas, using the Import option.
  • Export functional areas, using the Export option.
    Note: This option is enabled only when you select at least one functional area to export.
  • Sync the analysis status of the Functional Area for Job Positions with the Task page, using the Refresh option.
  • Migrate the existing job positions if any, using the Migrate Job Positions option. The default hierarchy and the default functional area variable are considered when migrating. After successful migration, you can use the Migration Details option to review the details.
