System for Award Management

You can create a duplicate rule to compare the records across different objects of the System for Award Management (SAM) act.

  1. Click Design > Business Controls > Rule Books.
  2. Click the arrow option corresponding to the Watchlist Insight rule book in which you want to create the new Watchlist Insight rule.
  3. Click New. The New Rule page page is displayed.
  4. Click the Conditions tab.
  5. Select the Duplicate Type rule - For Cross Objects template for creating the rule.
  6. Specify these conditions. 
    Group 1
		    Condition 1
			Value Set 1
		      Customer Party Master ~ Customer Name
			 Fuzzy Matches
			Value Set 2
			 Supplier Party Master ~ Supplier Party Name
			 Fuzzy Match Setting
			  Threshold Min
			   80
			  Threshold Max
			   99
	and
			Condition 2
			 Value Set 1
			  Customer Party Master ~ Status
			  Does not equal
			 Value Set 2
			  Deleted
  7. Click Save.
The rule with this condition ensures that the Supplier Party name is similar to the SAM GSA list.
