Creating a Baseline

Use the Baseline page to create a Baseline category.

  1. Select Manage > Baseline on the navigation bar and click New to create a new Baseline.
  2. Specify this information:
    Baseline Name
    Specify a name for the Baseline.
    Insight
    Select the Insight for which the Baseline category is created. The Baseline functionality currently supports the Process Insight for Infor.
    Application Instance
    Select the application instance that must be associated with the Baseline category.
    Baseline Category
    Select a category for the Baseline.
    Baseline Sub Category
    Select sub-categories or child objects for the selected Baseline category.
    Note: This field is displayed only if the selected Baseline category has associated sub-categories.
  3. Click Save. The selected category is added to the Baseline page and is available for immediate or scheduled baseline snapshot.

    To take a snapshot immediately, select the Baseline category and click the Snapshot option. However, to schedule the snapshot, create a new schedule.
