Locking a review

Lock a review in one of these scenarios:

  • More information required on the review objects before taking action.
  • Other stage reviewers must take action on the review.
Note: This option is not displayed when viewing the reviews in a Single Page View layout.

To lock a review:

  1. Select Monitor > Reviews on the navigation bar. The Reviews page is displayed.
  2. Select the check box corresponding to a review and click . The review is locked and indicated by a Yes value in the Locked column.

    Action can be taken on the locked reviews by the reviewer who has locked the review.

    However, a locked review can get unlocked automatically in these scenarios:

    • The review is escalated.
    • The Process Administrator reassigns the locked review to another reviewer. The review is unlocked and appears on the Reviews page.
    • The reviewer who has locked the review takes action on the locked review.
