Scope

Use this section to define the hierarchy of the functional area. Based on the scopes defined, provisions or CM processes are routed to the appropriate approvers.

Note: As the approvers are added at the last level in the hierarchical structure, you must create the entire hierarchy before adding values.

Click and click Add Scope.

Specify this information:

Object

The Infor GRC object for which the functional area is created. Possible values:

• Authorizations Insight
  • Role ID
  • Accounting Entity
    Note: This object value is applicable to the Access Management provision only.
  • User email ID
  • User first name
  • User last name
  • User name
  • Application name
  • Datasource name
• Certification Manager Insight
  • Role ID
  • User email ID
  • User first name
  • User last name
  • User name

Note: 

The Object value changes based on Insight selected.

Leaf Node

The approvers of the last level of the functional area hierarchical structure. If you select this check box, you must add approvers for the various approval stages for the provision or processes.

Note: Approvers are not required if the functional area is created for the Emergency Access provisions.

If multiple scopes are added to the functional area, the leaf level approver is considered for the approval stages. However, if only one scope is added for the functional area, the provision or process is routed to the default approver.

Functional Area Variable

The variable for the functional area. Functional Area Variables are attributes for the selected object.

You can use one of these options to add a functional area variable:

• Select a functional area variable.
  Note:  By default, the Scope Friendly Name is displayed. However, you can modify the displayed name.
• Add a new functional area variable. Select the Add as a New Functional Area Variable check box to specify a new functional area variable.

Scope Friendly Name

This field is automatically populated based on the Functional Area Variable Name selected.

Add values using Naming Convention

Select the Add values using Naming Convention check box. Specify a value for the specified functional area variable. Click Add Item. The values are displayed at the bottom of the page.

Values

Click to select values for the specified functional area variable.

Note: Provisions or processes are routed to the appropriate approvers based on the values specified to the scope.

Approvers

Select Approvers and click Add. The values and the approvers are listed below.

Note: This field is displayed only if you have selected the Leaf Node check box.
