Setting violation filters
Set the filters on the Violations page to determine the data that must be displayed.
To set the filters:
- Click Monitor > Violations on the navigation bar.
- Click to expand the Filters section.

Specify the information to display the violations:
- Filter Name
- The name of the filter.
- Control Type
- The type of control based on the rule created. Possible values:
- Security Controls: Authorizations Insight rules to monitor security models.
- Transaction Monitoring Controls: Process Insight and Watchlist Insight rules to monitor business transactions.
- User Activity Controls: User Activity Insight rules to monitor business transactions.
- Insight
- The name of the Insight for which the violations are displayed.
Possible values:
- Authorizations Insight for Infor
- Process Insight for Infor
- Watchlist Insight
- User Activity Insight for Infor
- Analysis
- The analysis for which the violations are displayed.Note: Select the Select All Analyses check box to review violations for all analyses.
You also have the option to select
- Data Sources
- The data source associated to the selected Insight.
- Application Instance
- The application instance used when analyzing data.
- Violating Object
- The objects that have generated violations. Possible values:
- For Authorizations Insight
for Infor, the objects can be:
- Users
- Roles
- For Process Insight for Infor and the Watchlist Insight, the primary violating object used in the analysis.
- For User Activity Insight for Infor, the primary violating object is User.
- For Authorizations Insight
for Infor, the objects can be:
- Advanced Filter
- The attributes of the violating object.
- Rule Priority
- The priority assigned to the rule(s). Possible values:
- High
- Medium
- Low
- Informational
- Rule Format
- The format of the rule. Possible values:
- Authorizations Insight for
Infor:
- Sensitive
- Conflict
- Process Insight for Infor:
- Simple
- Math
- Duplicate
- Watchlist Insight
- Duplicate rule
- User Activity Insight for Infor
- Infor Sensitive Transaction
- Infor Transaction Conflicts
- Authorizations Insight for
Infor:
- Exclusion

This field is displayed only if you select Authorizations Insight for Infor.
The type of objects for which the violations are displayed. Possible values:
- Excluded: Violations are displayed for the objects that are excluded from the rules.
- Not excluded: Violations are displayed for the objects that are not excluded from the rules.
- All: Violations are displayed for all the objects.
- Rule Book
- The rule books used in the selected analysis.
- Rule
- The rules in the selected analysis. The rules displayed are based on the rule books selected in the Rule Books field.
- Mapping Objects
- The mapping object (accounting entity) mapped to a user or role.
The accounting entity details are displayed in the Reasons panel on the
violation details page.Note: This field is displayed only if you select Authorizations Insight for Infor.
- Violation Status
- The status of the violations.
- Urgent

The flagged violations. All violations are displayed, by default.
Note: This field is displayed only if you select Process Insight for Infor.
- Reviewer
- The reviewers for the violations.

Select one of these options:
- Click Apply to display violations based on the filters selected.
- Click Save to reuse the selected filter parameters in future. The saved filters are displayed on the Saved Filters tab.
- Click Reset to reset all the filters to the default values.
