Working with Personal Data Protection

Use the Personal Data Protection page to collect the personal information of an object. This functionality helps in maintaining the information security.

You can also use this page to:

Anonymize a user and all the information related to the user. See, GDPR Object Anonymizing.
Delete a user. See GDPR Object Deletion.
Exclude a user. See GDPR Stop Object Monitoring.

To collect personal data:

Select Manage > Personal Data Protection on the navigation bar and click .
Specify this information:

Task Name

The name for the task.

Type

The type of the task.
Select GDPR object data collection.

Object ID

The ID of the object for which the personal data is collected.
Select an option to schedule the data collection task:
- Run Now: The task is executed immediately.
- Run Later: The task is executed later. When you select this option, these fields are displayed:
Start Date

The date when the task is scheduled to start.

Start Time (h:mm a)

The time when the task is scheduled to start.
Click Save. This task can be monitored on the Tasks page.
The priority of the object data collection task is medium by default. The object data collection task runs in concurrence with all the long running tasks.
