Scheduling a report

You can set the schedule to generate the reports based on the frequency and the timeline.

To set the schedule:

  1. Select Run Now to generate the report immediately. You can also select the Run Later option to schedule the generation of the report at a later date or time. If the Run Later option is selected, these values must be specified:
    Start Date
    The date when the report is scheduled to be generated for the first time.
    Start Time (h:mm a)

    The time when the report is scheduled to be generated for the first time.

  2. Set the frequency for the recurrence of the report generation in the Recurring Frequency field in the Recurrence section. The frequency can be set to:
    • Never: The report is generated only once on the specified date and time.
    • Hourly: The report is generated based on the time interval specified in hours, in the Recurring Frequency Hourly Interval field.
    • Daily: The report generation recurs daily.
    • Weekly: The report generation recurs on a weekly basis. You must specify:
      • The time interval in weeks for the recurrence in the Recurring Frequency Weekly Interval field.
      • The day of the week in the Select days of the week field. The report is generated on the selected day of the week.
    • Monthly: The report generation recurs on a monthly basis. You can set the recurrence, using these options:
      • On Specific Week day: The day of the week for the recurrence, the week of the month and the time interval in months for the recurrence of the report generation.
      • On specific day: The day of every month for the recurrence of the report in the Specific Day field.
  3. Set the end date for the recurrence of the report generation in the Set End Date section, using these options:
    • No end date: The report generation is scheduled on a continuous basis.
    • Occurrences: The number of occurrences of the report generation.
    • End date: The last date for the recurrence of the report generation in the Specify End Date field.
    Note: This option is displayed only if the Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly recurrence option is selected.
