Importing Compensation Controls

You can use the import functionality to use the compensating controls created by other users or to use the compensating controls created on another Infor GRC server.

To import compensating controls:

  1. Select Design > Business Controls > Compensating Controls on the navigation bar.
  2. Click . The Import Compensating Controls screen is displayed.
  3. Select the file (.xml, .json, or .zip) to import.
  4. Specify this information:
    Task Name
    The name for the import task.
    Compensating Control Import Options
    The options available to execute the import task.

    Possible values:

    • Create Copy

      A copy of the compensating control is imported.

    • Keep Existing

      The existing compensating control available in the application is retained.

    • Overwrite/Merge from Import file

      The imported compensating control overwrites or merges the existing compensating control in the application.

  5. Click Import.
    Note: Documentation associated with the Compensating Control are not imported.
