Discussing violations with other users

Users assigned the role of a Reviewer can use this functionality to discuss a violation with the other Infor GRC users.

To discuss a violation:

  1. Select Monitor > Violations on the navigation bar.
  2. Select the check box corresponding to a violation and click . The Discuss screen is displayed.
    Note: Violations can also be assigned for discussion from the Violation Details page. You can click corresponding to a violation on the Violations page. The Violation Details page is displayed. You can click to discuss a violation.
  3. Specify this information:
    Violating Objects
    The objects that have generated the violations.
    Discuss With
    The user with whom the violation is discussed.
    Status
    The status of the violation.
    Note: You can only review the information in this field.
    Mark this Violation as Urgent
    Select this check box to indicate that the violation requires immediate action.
    Comments
    Additional information related to the discussion on the violations.
    Note: All the information related to the discussion is displayed in the History section.
  4. Click Discuss.
    Users selected for the discussion are notified by an email. Users can provide the comments, if the user has access to that violation.
    Note: Users can initiate discussions only on the violations they own.
