Role Assignments

You have these options:

• Select the Create User Without Roles check box if no roles are to be assigned to the user. Click Next to proceed to the Summary tab. OR
• Specify this information:

  Application Instance

  The application instance to stream live data for the analysis. All the application instances in the selected Master Application Instance is displayed.

  Select one of these options:

  • Assign Roles

    The new roles for the user. The Add Roles screen is displayed. Select Roles and click Apply.

  • Assign Roles as another user
    The roles of an existing user. The Add Roles as Another User screen displays these fields:

    Application Instance

    The application instance associated with the user whose roles are assigned to the new user. Select one of these options:

    • Assign Roles as another user

      The roles of another user that are assigned to the new user.

    • Assign Roles as User from this Provision

      The roles of an existing user, participating in this provision, are assigned to the new user.

    User

    The name of the user whose roles are assigned to the new user.

  • Assign Job Position

    Roles assigned to an existing Job Position. The Assign Job Position screen is displayed. Select a Job Position and click Apply.

    The Job Positions displayed will be based on the selected Data Source and the Application Instance.
