Exporting a rule book

Rule books are a collection or group of rules.

Use the export functionality to share the rule books with the other users or on another Infor GRC server. Multiple rule books can be exported at a time.

To export a rule book:

Select Design > Business Controls > Rule Books on the navigation bar.
Select the check box corresponding to the rule book to export.
Click . The Export Rule Book screen is displayed.
Specify a task name. This task can be monitored on the Tasks page.
Select the Export All Rule Books check box to export all the existing rule books.
Select one of these options to export the rule books. The options are:
- Select All: Export the rule books with the associated compensating controls, exclusion lists, documentation and notifications.
- Compensating Control: Export all the compensating controls associated with the rules in the rule book.
- Exclusion Lists: Export all the exclusion lists associated with the rules in the rule book.
- Documentation: Export the documentation associated with the rules in the rule book.
Note: When you import the rule books again in the application, the selected functionality is imported along with the rule book.
Click Export. The exported files can be downloaded from the Design > Download page. The file is exported in the .zip file format.

Note: The Data source details associated with the selected Rule Books are not retained when you export the Rule Books.
