Generic Exclusion Documentation

The Generic Exclusion Documentation report displays the excluded objects and the associated compensating controls.

To set the filters:

  1. Select Monitor > Reports on the navigation bar and click .
  2. Click to select the Generic Exclusion Documentation in the Reports field.
  3. Click the Report Filters section.
  4. Specify the information that must be included in the report:
    Insight
    The name of the Insight for which information is displayed in the report.
    Application
    The application instances linked to the selected Insight.
    Rule Books
    The rule books for the selected Insight.
    Rules
    The rule(s), in the selected rule books, with exclusions.
    Rule Priority
    The priority assigned to the rule(s).
    Exclusion Type
    The type of violating objects that are excluded from the rules.

    Possible values:

    • User: The rules in which the User is excluded.
    • Role: The rules in which the Role is excluded.
    • User attributes: The rules in which the user attributes are excluded. For example, the email address, the first name and so on.
    Object
    The object excluded from the rule(s).
    Mitigated

    The objects that are excluded from the rules but are mitigated by associating compensating controls. Possible values:

    • Mitigated: The excluded objects that are mitigated.
    • Not Mitigated: The excluded objects that are not mitigated.
    Compensating Controls

    The compensating controls associated with the excluded objects for mitigating the exclusions.

    Compensating Controls Valid From Date
    The date from which the compensating controls are associated with the excluded objects for mitigating the exclusions.
    Compensating Controls Valid Through Date
    The date up to which the compensating controls are associated with the excluded objects for mitigating the exclusions.
    Exclusion Valid Through Date
    The date up to which the violating objects are excluded from the rules.
