Transition programs

Transition programs consist of transition tasks that are performed by candidates, resources, or administrators.

Programs are targeted to specific audiences. For example, a candidate for hire is subject to a different transition process from a transferring employee. You can set up a transition program to include tasks that are used to transition new hires.

You can set up other programs to include tasks that are used to transition a transferring resource. You can set up a transition program to include tasks for offboarding activities for a resigning resource.

Some of the tasks can be shared, but some may be applicable to one program and not the other. Alternatively, you can configure a single program and use custom groups to restrict certain tasks to only apply to one group or another.
