Setting up default interview reminders

Before recruiters and hiring managers configure the default interview reminders, recruiting administrators must enable advanced interview scheduling.

After scheduling an interview with a candidate, you can set up the default interview reminders in advanced interview scheduling. Interview reminders are sent to a candidate before their scheduled interview. They can create up to three interview reminders.

When recruiters and hiring managers schedule an interview with a candidate, they can change and remove the default interview reminders.

  1. Select Administrator > Talent Acquisition > Interview Setup > Interview Scheduling.
  2. In the Interview Scheduling Defaults section, specify this information:
    Type of Candidate Invite
    To send one email invite to the candidate and the interview team, select Combined Candidate And Interview Team Invite. To send separate email invites to the candidate and the interview team, select Separate Candidate And Interview Team Invite.
    Interview Period
    Specify the number of days that are searched on calendars for interview availability.

    For example, specify 7 to search for the interview availability seven days before the interview scheduling.

    Interview Duration
    Specify the length of the interview in minutes.
  3. Specify the default message that is displayed to the candidate when the time slot is not available in the Candidate Time Slot Messaging field.
  4. In the Candidate Reminders section, specify this information:
    Send Reminder 1
    Select an email template to use for the first interview reminder of the candidate.
    Send Reminder 2
    Select an email template to use for the second interview reminder of the candidate.
    Send Reminder 3
    Select an email template to use for the third interview reminder of the candidate.
    Days before interview
    Specify the number of days that the interview reminder is sent before the candidate's interview date.
  5. Click Save.
