Default resume parsing

After the default resume parsing is enabled, organizations with Burning Glass resume parsing are changed automatically to default resume parsing.

When the default resume parsing is toggled on, a new parser is supported in Talent Acquisition. The new parser is a REST-based resume classification API. Through the API, the continuous adoption of functionality and updates of resume parsing is ensured.

After the administrators enable the default resume parsing for an organization, these actions are available:
  • Supporting resume parsing for job boards using the Jobs web application
  • Selecting Default as a resume parsing option
These file types are supported in default resume parsing:
  • .PDF
  • .TXT
  • .DOC
  • .DOCX
  • .ODT
  • .WPD
