Creating offer letter and signature paragraphs

To create offer letter paragraphs and signature paragraphs, you can use the SoHo 4 UX web interface. The HTML editor in the offer paragraph screen is used to check the number of line breaks between offer paragraphs and to add or remove them from the offer letter PDF.

See Adding offer letter paragraphs and signature paragraphs to offer letter templates.

  1. Select Template Setup > Offer Letters With Paragraphs > Offer Paragraphs or Talent Acquisition > Administration > Recruiting Setup > Offer Letter > Paragraphs.
  2. Click Create.
  3. On the Details tab, specify this information:
    Offer Paragraph
Specify the name of the offer letter or signature paragraph.
    Description
Specify the offer letter paragraph or signature paragraph's description to identify its purpose or audience.
    Active
Select the check box to make the offer letter paragraph or signature paragraph available in the system. Clear the check box to make the paragraph unavailable.
    Category
Select the category of the offer letter paragraph.
    Body
Specify the offer letter's paragraph text.

A rich-text editor is used in this field to apply bold, italics, underlining, and bullets to an offer letter.

To add a variable in the offer letter paragraph, click the vertical ellipsis field and select a variable.

See System-defined variables in offer letter and signature paragraphs.

Note:  If you know the exact syntax of a variable, then you can type that value directly into the text field. For example, {CandidateFullNameName}. You do not have to select from the list of variables.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Eligibility Groups.
This field is available after you save the body of the offer letter paragraphs or signature paragraphs.

See Offer letter and signature paragraphs.

You must not define an eligibility group for signature paragraphs. If an eligibility group is assigned to a signature paragraph, that eligibility group is ignored. Signature paragraphs are available to all candidates.

  6. On the Eligibility Groups tab, click Create.
  7. Click the new field and select a group.
  8. Click Save.
