Using GenAI to create credentials

GenAI must be enabled for the organization.

Administrators can use GenAI to create credentials that can then be used by users, employees and candidates across a number of features. GenAI saves employees who create credentials time and effort.

The process requires these parts:

  • Generate: First, you generate a list of credentials based on criteria that you specify.
  • Edit: After the list has been generated, you can delete unwanted entries and duplicate entries, and you can edit entries.
  • Import: Import the entries into the system. Because the data in the temporary holding table is cleared each time AI generates skills and competencies, Infor recommends that you complete the editing and import process for each individual batch.
  1. Select Qualifications > Credentials.
  2. Click the ellipses and select Generate Credentials Using AI.
  3. Specify this information:
    Credentials Related To
Specify the prompt that the AI uses to generate the credentials.
    Number of Credentials to Generate
Specify the number of credentials that are created by GenAI. Valid values are 1 to 40.
    Category
Specify a category. Categories are used to organize credentials.
  4. Click Submit. The credentials are generated and shown in a temporary holding table where you can review edit them before saving to the system.
  5. You can perform these editing tasks prior to saving:
    • Edit: To edit an entry, click into the field in the Short Description column, edit the text, and click out of the field. Note that an icon indicates entries that exceed the maximum character length. You must resolve these entries prior to saving.
    • Delete: This is useful when the list of credentials includes duplicates. Search the list for the duplicate indicator, select one or more entries that you want to delete, and click Delete.
  6. When you have completed your review and related editing and deleting actions, you must import the generated credentials to the system. Select the rows that you want to save and click Import.
