You can set up recognition categories
that correspond to skills so that employees can recognize one another using raves. For
example, you can create recognition categories for accountability, customer
satisfaction, excellence, performance, and teamwork. The recognition categories are
available for all recognition programs.

Sign in as Administrator. The administrator must be assigned
the Employee Recognition Administration role.

Click Create.

Specify this information:
- Recognition Category
- Provide a name for the category.
- Description
- Optionally, provide a description for the
category.
- Badge
- Optionally, select a color for the badge. The color is displayed
next to the category description.
- Active
- Select the Active
check box to display the recognition category for the employees who
are using raves.

Click Save.
