Creating continuing education credits

Managers can create the continuing education credits for the employees.

The managers can associate the continuing education credit that is earned or approved to a goal provided that it has a date earned.

The date earned must not exceed the goal's due date and the date earned is on or after the goal's start date.

  1. Select Learning.
  2. Click the Continuing Education Credits tab.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Specify this information:
    Employment ID
    Select the employee to whom to assign the credit.
    Provider
    Select the continuing education provider.
    Description
    Provide a description for the continuing education credit.
    Effective Date
    Specify the date when the credits becomes effective.
    Date Earned
    Specify the date when you earns the certificate.
    Expiration Date
    Specify the expiration date of the credits.
    Score
    Specify score earned.
    Credits
    Specify the number of credits.
    Associate With Goal
    Select this check box to associate the continuing education credit to a goal.

    This field is available only when you specify a date in the Date Earned field.

    Goal
    Select the goal to associate with the continuing education credit.

    This field is available only if the Associate With Goal check box is selected.

    Title
    Specify the title of the document that you are uploading.
    File
    Select the document that confirms you earned the credits.
    File Type
    Specify the file type of the document you are uploading.
    Comments
    Provide comments.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. To associate the continuing education credits with a goal, on the list of continuing education credits right-click the credit then select Associate with Goal. Select the goal to associate with the continuing education credit and click Submit.
    When associating a continuing education credit that is associated with another goal, the new goal disassociates the existing goal from the continuing education credit.
