Enabling generation of state consolidated location file in VETS report

Before you enable the file generation of State Consolidated Location, you must accomplish these tasks:
  • Define a VETS company's establishment type to Multi Establishment
  • Set up a hiring location for a VETS company

To generate State Consolidated Location files, HR administrators must enable the file generation of State Consolidated Location.

After you enable the file generation of State Consolidated Location, the State Consolidation Location and MSC Locations columns are displayed in the Hiring Locations list for a multi-establishment VETS company.

  1. Select HR Administration > Report Catalog.
  2. Click Report.
  3. Select HR Administration > Regulatory.
  4. Click VETS-4212 (Veteran's Employment And Training Service).
  5. Click Create Report.
  6. Click a multi-establishment VETS company.
  7. Select a hiring location and click Open.
  8. Specify the effective date of the multi-establishment VETS company.
  9. Select the State Consolidated Location check box.
  10. Specify the number of MSC locations of the hiring location.
    If you select the State Consolidated Location check box, then this field is displayed.
  11. Optionally, update other hiring location information on Hiring Location.
  12. Optionally, specify the hiring location number of the multi-establishment VETS company.
  13. Click Save.
