Security entity for HR Talent

The Security Entity feature is available only for new implementations or re-implementations.

This feature is only supported with the expanded Actor Organization Unit roles.

A security entity is identified by selecting the Is An Entity check box on the HR organization unit.

By defining a security entity structure within an HR organization, users can define secured setup data at a level lower than the HR organization for Core HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Payroll.

Actors with access to one security entity cannot see data for other entities.

For example:

• Core HR actors only see their own jobs, job categories, and positions.
• Compensation, benefit, and absence actors only see their own plans and plan components.
• Payroll actors only see their own set of pay codes, deduction codes, and payment schedules.
• Talent Acquisition actors only see their own requisitions.
