Manager structure independent of organization structure

One of the advantages of a separate manager structure is that it does not have to mimic your organization's structure. You can create many levels of managers and you can have cross-organization managers.

In this example, each organization unit has more than one manager level. In addition, the Director of Development (DIRECTORDEV) supervises the development managers for both the NA division (NA-DIV) and the EU division (EU-DIV). The Director of Services (DIRECTORSERV) supervises the services managers for both the NA and EU divisions.
