Searching opportunities

If your organization's administrator enables the Consistent UI for Employee Opportunities check box in Talent Acquisition, you can use all fields that are available for filter search.

If your organization's administrator disables the Consistent UI for Employee Opportunities check box in Talent Acquisition, you can only use these fields for filter search:
  • Featured Jobs
  • Category
  • Location
  • Work Type
  • Job ID
  1. Sign in as an employee.
  2. Select Career Opportunities > Job Search.
  3. Specify the job posting's' keywords in the Search Open Jobs field.
  4. Optionally, click Filter Search and specify this information:
    Feature Jobs
    Select Yes if the job posting to search is a feature job. Select No if the job posting to search is not a feature job.
    Category
    Select one or more areas of employment.
    For example, select Accounting or Customer Service.
    Sub-category
    Select one or more sub-areas of employment.
    For example, select Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.
    Keyword
    Specify the text in the job posting's' title, description, employment type, education level, education specialization, skill, competency, or credential. Separate entries with orand to show listings have all of the keywords. Entries are not case-sensitive. to show listings that have any of the keywords. Separate entries with

    Optionally, change the operator function for this or any of the fields where options are available.

    Workplace Type
    Select one or more type of employment's workplace.
    Work Type
    Select one or more bases of employment.
    For example, select Full Time or Part Time.
    Location
    Select one or more job location.
    Job Title
    Specify the job posting's title.
    Job ID
    Specify the identification code of the job posting and leave other search fields blank.
    Posted
    Specify the posting date of the job posting.
  5. Click Search.
  6. To sort the results of job postings, click Sort and select the sorting category
    You can sort the results by post date, job posting description, category, and location in ascending or descending order.
  7. From the Job Search list, double-click a job posting.
  8. To view more listings, click the Records per page arrow and select a number.
  9. Optionally, from the Job Search list, click Previous Page to return to the previous search results.
    Your filters, if any, are retained.
  10. Optionally, from the Job Search list, click Next Page to view more search results.
  11. To download the job posting from an organization which the Consistent UI for Employee Opportunities is enabled, click the PDF icon.
  12. To download the job posting from an organization which the Consistent UI for Employee Opportunities is disabled, click View as pdf.
  13. To download the related document attachment for a job posting description, click the hyperlink in the Additional Information section.

    Depending on your device's internet browser settings, you can download or rename then save the related document attachment for a job posting description. If the recruiter did not attach a document, the Additional Information section is not displayed

  14. To apply for the job posting, click Apply.
  15. To save the job posting to the job cart from an organization which the Consistent UI for Employee Opportunities is enabled, click Save and Ok.
    You can view the job posting that is saved on Job Cart.
  16. To save the job posting to the job cart from an organization which the Consistent UI for Employee Opportunities is disabled, click Save To Job Cart.
  17. To continue your application for a job posting, click Continue applying.
  18. Optionally, on the search results page, select More > Options > Print to PDF or Save as CSV to display a page for specifying details about the saved file.
    You can retrieve a saved file by clicking the link in the temporary message that is displayed. To retrieve the file later, click the My Notifications icon.
  19. Optionally, view listings in the Recent Jobs and Hot Jobs panes.
    Recent jobs are listings that were posted within the time period that was specified by the recruiter administrator. Hot jobs are listings that are marked with a Priority Requisition flag, regardless of the listings' age.
