Employee contract statuses
These statuses are available for employee contracts:
Employee Contract Status | Status Definition |
---|---|
Draft |
The contract is being drafted. Employee contracts are automatically placed in the Draft status when they are created. The employee contract is not visible to the employee when the contract is in Draft status. Contract administrators can change the status to enable the employees to view the contract. |
Ready for Review | The contract is ready for the employee to review. |
Contract Sent | The contract has been sent to the employee for review. |
In Progress | The contract is being reviewed by the employee. Negotiations may be taking place. |
Pay Enabled |
Employees have not accepted the contract, but they can still be paid by the organization. To begin payment before the employee has formally accepted the contract, select the employee contract record and then select . The contract status is changed to Pay Enabled and contract pay details are created. |
Accepted | The employee has accepted the terms of the contract. |
Rejected | The employee has rejected the terms of the contract. |
Ended | The contract has ended due to termination, promotion, or transfer from the associated position. |
