Transferring employees to another session

Learning administrators, local learning administrators, and instructors can transfer employees to a different session.

Employees are re-enrolled to the activity that is withdrawn, waived, or canceled when they are transferred to another session.

  1. Select Catalog > Activities and Sessions.
  2. Select an activity and open an active session.
  3. Click the Registrations tab.
  4. Select an employee or employees who have not completed the session yet.
  5. Right-click and select Transfer To A Different Session.
    You can only transfer employees to another session if there are other active sessions within the activity that still have capacity or waitlist is allowed.
  6. Specify this information:
    Session
    Select the session in which to transfer the employee.
    Retain Current Status
    Select the check box to keep the current status of the session.
    New Status
    Specify a new status to override the current status of the session.
  7. Override the current status of the session:
    1. On the Registration list, select an employee or multiple employees.
    2. Right-click and select Change Status.
    3. Specify a new status for the session.
      You cannot override the sessions with Complete status.

      If the activity is in withdrawn, waived, or canceled status, the status of the activity is updated when the session's statuses are changed.

      The learning administrator or local learning administrator can override the sessions with Requested status. They can approve or reject registration requests of the employee.
