Viewing rolling absence plans
Absence Administrators must enroll a resource in all the plans designated on the link table.
- Select Absence Administrator > Absence Analysis > Resource Plans.
- Select the employee record.

Click the Rolling Absence Plan tab to view the
plan.
Click the Calculate Lookback button to update the Lookback Request Date.
When viewing rolling absence plans, these fields are displayed in the Secondary Lookback Period pane:
- Primary Lookback Available Balance: All the values in this field are from the Primary Lookback Period.
- Secondary Lookback Available Balance: All the values in this field are from the most recent values in the Secondary Lookback Period.
- Hours: These are the time left in Entitlement based on the Lookback Period.
- Days: These are the number of days left in Entitlement as of the Lookback Period.
- Hours Used in Calculation: These are the number of days used in Requests, Time records, and Service Records during the Lookback Period.
- Days Used in Calculation: These are the number of days used in Requests, Time records, and Service Records during the Lookback Period.
- Entitlement Met: If the hours or days column is greater than 0, then the entitlement is met and more requests can be made for the plan. If any of the values is 0, then the entitlement is no longer met for the plan, which means that subsequent requests for the plan are acquired by the next plan in the link table.
For example, 100% drops to 50% and 50% drops to Unpaid.
