Defining leave reasons

Use leave reasons to provide specific reasons for a leave. For example, a leave request for a leave type of military duty could have a reason of activated. Leaves and leave requests are added to a resource's record.

  1. Select Absence > Administration > Set Up.
  2. In the Leave of Absence pane, click Leave Reasons.
  3. Click New.
  4. Specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Specify a date this leave type is effective.
    Leave Reason
    Specify a code for the leave reason.
    Description
    Specify a description for the leave reason.
  5. Click Save.
