L&D Actions widget

The L&D Actions widget provides a consolidated view of Learning and Development items that are either overdue or upcoming. It shows category-wise counts for activities, development plans, certifications, evaluations, and checklists. The information is visually represented using a pie chart with a legend that shows the count for each category.

Status selection

The widget includes two primary status options: Overdue and Upcoming. You can switch between these statuses to view the corresponding L&D action items.

Overdue timeframes

When Overdue is selected, you can filter the data by timeframes such as within the last 7 days or within the last 30 days. Based on the selected timeframe, the total count displayed at the center of the pie chart updates, the category-wise counts in the legend refresh dynamically, and the chart segments adjust accordingly.

Upcoming timeframes

When Upcoming is selected, you can filter the data by Today, within the next 7 days, or within the next 30 days. The pie chart and legend update dynamically based on the selected timeframe, and the total count in the center reflects the updated selection.

Visual representation

The pie chart shows the total number of records for the selected status and timeframe. The center of the chart shows the overall total, while the legend provides a category-wise breakdown with individual counts. Each category is represented by a distinct color for easy differentiation.

Interactive drill-down

The L&D Actions widget supports drill-down functionality that allows you to access record-level details. Selecting the count for Activities, Development Plans, Certifications, Evaluations, or Checklists opens an iFrame form showing detailed records for the selected category. When you click a hyperlink within a record in the iFrame, the detailed view of that record is displayed. The information shown is based on the currently selected status and timeframe, enabling you to review details without leaving the workspace.
