L&D Catalogue Items widget

The L&D Catalogue Items widget provides a consolidated view of Learning and Development catalogue categories within the L&D Admin workspace. The widget is organized into these tabs: Activities, Development Plans, Certifications, and Checklists.

You can view category-specific details by clicking the appropriate tab.

L&D catalogue items widget tabs

  • Activities tab
    This tab shows these details:
    • Activity ID
    • Activity Type
    • Status
    • Number of enrolled participants

    Clicking the Activity record hyperlink drills back to the detailed view in the application. Clicking the Enrollment count hyperlink navigates to the application page that lists enrolled participants.

  • Development Plans tab
    This tab shows these details:
    • Development ID
    • Name
    • Status
    • Number of enrolled participants

    Clicking the Record hyperlink drills back to the detailed view in the application. Clicking the Enrollment count hyperlink navigates to the application page that lists enrolled participants.

  • Certifications tab
    This tab shows these details:
    • Certification ID
    • Certification Name
    • Number of enrolled participants
    • Version
    • Status

    Clicking the Certification record hyperlink drills back to the detailed view in the application. Clicking the Enrollment count hyperlink navigates to the application page that displays enrollment details.

  • Checklists tab
    This tab shows these details:
    • Checklist ID
    • Name
    • Category Type
    • Number of resources enrolled
    • Status

    Clicking the Checklist record hyperlink opens the detailed view in the application. Clicking the Resource count hyperlink navigates to the application page that lists associated resources.

Search functionality

The search bar allows you to dynamically search records based on the active tab. You can search using these criteria:
  • Activity Name (Activities tab)
  • Development Plan Name (Development Plans tab)
  • Certification Name (Certifications tab)
  • Checklist Name (Checklists tab)

Filter option

The filter option allows you to filter records by status. Available status options vary by tab.

This list shows how you can filter records per tab:
  • Activities: Active, Inactive
  • Development Plans: Proposed, Active, Inactive
  • Certifications: Proposed, Active, Inactive
  • Checklists: Proposed, Active, Inactive

At least one status must be selected. After selecting the desired status, you must click Apply to update the results.

View All action

The View All button allows you to drill back to the application and view the complete list of records for the selected category. This action is dynamic based on the active tab.

This list shows the records you can view when you click View All for a specific tab:
  • Activities tab shows all activities
  • Development Plans tab shows all development plans
  • Certifications tab shows all certifications
  • Checklists tab shows all checklists

When a user is on the Activity tab and clicks View All, the application drills back to display all available activities. The same behavior applies to the other tabs.

Configuration options

The L&D Catalogue Items widget includes configuration options that allow you to control which tabs are visible.

This list shows the available options:
  • Show Activities tab
  • Show Development Plans tab
  • Show Certifications tab
  • Show Checklists tab

Only the selected tabs are displayed in the widget.
