Cloning a case

As a case agent, you can clone an existing case to quickly create a similar case for a different employee or job applicant. Cloning helps reduce manual setup by reusing case details from an existing case.

For job applicant cases, you can clone only cases that are in Applied status and are not dispositioned.

Before you can clone a job applicant case, your administrator must enable Candidate Onboarding for Case Management.

See the Infor HR Talent User and Administration Library (Cloud and On-premises) and select Administrator > Case Management.

Cloning a case from the agent’s queue

  1. Select Queue.
  2. On the Assigned To Me, All, or Unassigned tab, right-click a case to clone.
  3. Select Clone Case.
    Optionally, open the case. In the case form, click the More Actions button and select Clone Case.
  4. Select an employee or candidate to clone the case for.
    If you clone a job application case and the candidate you selected has multiple applications, select the job requisition to associate with the case.
  5. Click Submit.

Cloning a case from the Resources menu

  1. Select Resources > Resources.
  2. Select an employee from the list.
  3. In the Most Recent Cases section, right-click a case and select Clone Case.
    Optionally, open the case. In the case form, click the More Actions button and select Clone Case.
  4. Select an employee to clone the case for.
  5. Click Submit.

Cloning a job applicant case from the Resources menu

  1. Select Resources.
  2. Click the Candidates tab.
  3. Select a candidate from the list.
  4. In the Most Recent Cases section, right-click a case and select Clone Case.
    Optionally, open the case. In the case form, click the More Actions button and select Clone Case.
  5. Select a candidate to clone the case for.
  6. If the candidate has multiple applications, select the job requisition to associate with the case.
  7. Click Submit.
