Setting up shift logging and primary topic limit

A case manager and administrator can create a preplanned shifts for service center employees. They can also set a limit on the number of cases related to a service center employee’s assigned primary topic can be worked on in a single shift.

As an administrator, before you or a manager can preplan a shift, you must enable the shift logging and primary topic limit functionality.

  1. Select Administration.
  2. In the Primary pane, click Application Settings.
  3. Select an organization for which to enable the shift logging and primary topic limit.
  4. On the General tab, select the Shift Logging And Primary Topic Limit check box.
  5. Click Save.
    Once enabled, the Shift menu is displayed in the Case Management web application. The Shift menu contains the Shift Plans and Primary Topics tabs.
