Creating a question-type transition task

An administrator can create a transition task and select Questions as the task type. When you select Questions, a Questions panel becomes available, allowing you to add questions from the question library.

Question-type transition tasks are available only for Resource tasks and are not supported for Candidate or Administration tasks.

After you create the question-type transition task, you can add it to a transition program.

  1. Select HR Administration > Transitions.
  2. Click the Components tab.
  3. Click Tasks.
  4. Specify this information:
    Task
    Specify KNOWLEDGE BASE.
    Description
    Specify Knowledge Base.
    Usage
    Select Transition Management.
    Audience
    Select Resource.
    Task Type
    Select Questions.
  5. Click the Questions tab.
  6. Click Add Questions.

    You can select a question or create a new question.

    Optionally, select a prerequisite task for the Candidate Direct Deposit task.

    After an employee submits answers for a question-type transition task, the administrator can view the submitted responses. The administrator has view-only access and cannot edit or reopen the task after submission.

    To collect responses, add the question-type transition task to a transition program and assign the program to an employee from HR Administration > Transitions > Transition Programs.
