Configuring case automation for transition tasks

Before configuring case automations, ensure that Case Management is enabled for your organization.

See Enabling Case Management in the Infor Case Management Administration Guide.

Additionally, confirm that Transition Management is enabled so that transition‑related programs, tasks, and automations can operate as intended.

Note: Transition task automation is available only for resource-facing tasks. Automation actions cannot be configured for candidate-facing tasks.
  1. Select HR Administration.
  2. Select Transitions.
  3. On the Components tab, click Tasks.
  4. Open a transition task.
  5. Click the Automations tab.

    You can add or review automation actions. Supported actions for resource programs include creating a case upon task assignment or task completion.

  6. Click Create.
  7. Specify this information:
    Run Order
    Specify the run order.
    Action
    Select Create Quick Case.
    Run Upon
    Select Task Assigned or Task Completed.
    Quick Case
    Select a quick case or a case template. The selected template defines the default values for the case. Only case templates marked as available for automation are shown in the list.

    For resource transition programs, you can create a Quick Case upon program assignment or completion.

    Eligibility Group
    You can select an eligibility group to limit the records on which the automation runs.

    The eligibility group determines which employees are included and uses Work Assignment–based custom groups with the subject HCMTransitionManagementEligibility.

  8. Click Submit.
