Configuring case automation for transition programs

Before configuring case automations, ensure that Case Management is enabled for your organization.

See Enabling Case Management in the Infor Case Management Administration Guide.

Additionally, confirm that Transition Management is enabled so that transition‑related programs, tasks, and automations can operate as intended.

If you are using candidate-facing programs, you must also enable Case Management Candidate Onboarding.

  1. Select HR Administration.
  2. Select Transitions > Transition Programs.
  3. Open a resource-facing or candidate-facing transition program.
  4. Click the Automations tab.

    The list of automations for the transition program is displayed. From here, you can review and manage the automations.

  5. Click Create.
  6. Specify this information:
    Run Order
    Specify the run order.
    Action
    Select Create Quick Case.
    Quick Case
    Select a quick case or a case template. The selected template defines the default values for the case. Only case templates marked as available for automation are shown in the list.

    For resource transition task, you can create a Quick Case upon task assignment or completion.

    Run Upon
    Select Completing Transition Program for both resource-facing and candidate-facing transition programs.

    For candidate transition programs, you can create a Quick Case upon program completion.

    Select Assigning Transition Program for resource-facing transition programs only.
    Eligibility Group
    You can select an eligibility group to limit the records on which the automation runs.

    For candidate programs, the eligibility group determines which job applicants are included and uses job application–based custom groups with the subject HCMTransitionManagementEligibility.

    For resource programs, the eligibility group determines which employees are included and uses work assignment–based custom groups with the subject HCMTransitionManagementEligibility.

  7. Click Submit.
