Creating job postings through a job board

To create job postings using the Streamlined Job Posting Process, administrators must enable the Streamlined Job Posting Process feature toggle.

See Infor HR Talent User and Administration Library (Cloud and On-premises) and select Administration > Utilities > Feature Toggles And System Utilities.

Recruiters can identify requisitions without job postings by using the filter on the requisition list. By default, the filter is blank. Select Yes, then click Search to display requisitions without associated job postings. Select No to display all requisitions that already have job postings.

  1. Select Requisitions.
  2. Click Create Job Posting under the requisition with a direct position.

    Create Job Posting is displayed only when the direct position status is Open and no job posting exists.

    Note: Create Job Posting is available in the job list and is specific to the Streamlined Job Posting Process.
  3. Click the Posting details tab.
  4. Select Select a board.
  5. Specify this information:
    Job board
    Select the specific job board.
    Category, Sub category

    If these values exist for the position, then they default on the job posting. If they do not exist, then you should specify them so that the position can be searched by category and location on job postings. You can change these values.

    Work type, Location

    If these values exist for the position, then they default on the job posting. If they do not exist, then you should specify them so that the position can be searched by category and location on job postings. You can change these values.

    Workplace Type

    If these values exist for the position, then they default on the job posting. If they do not exist, then you should specify them so that the position can be searched by category and location on job postings. You can change this value.

    Minimum salary, Maximum salary, Currency, Pay rate type

    Specify this information if you want it to be shown on the job posting.

    If a pay rate type exists, it defaults on the job posting. You can change these values.

  6. Click Next step.
  7. Specify this information:
    Title

    Specify the job title.

    If a title exists on the requisition, it defaults on the job posting. You can change this value.

    Description

    Specify the job description.

    If a description exists on the requisition, it defaults on the job posting. You can change this value.

  8. Click Next step.
  9. Specify this information:
    Posting begin date

    Specify the begin date.

    If not specified, the system uses the current date.

    Posting end date

    Specify the end date.

    Would you like to post this job posting after creating the posting?

    Select Yes, post this job posting after creation or No, I will manually post this later.

    If you select Yes and set a begin date, the posting date uses the begin date, even after you create the posting. If you select No, the posting is created without being posted.

  10. Click Create posting.
  11. To add an attachment, click the Attachment tab.

    Only one attachment is allowed per posting. The attachment is displayed on the job posting and is available for candidates to download.

  12. Specify this information:
    Document

    Select a relevant document to provide applicants with additional information.

    Document title in job posting

    Specify the document title in the job posting.

  13. Click the Preview as applicant tab to review the job posting as applicants see it on the internal job board and the external job board.

    You can preview posting details during the posting process. However, you cannot preview the description and attachment.

    Buttons such as Apply, Save, maps, and social media icons are not included in the preview.

    Note: When you create a job posting through job requisition navigation, posting details are not visible.

Creating job postings through a job posting rule

You can create one or more job postings by using predefined job posting rules.

  1. Select Requisitions.
  2. In the job list, click Create Job Posting for the requisition with a direct position.

    Create Job Posting is available only when the requisition status is Open and no job posting exists.

  3. Click the Posting details tab.
  4. Select Use a job posting rule.
  5. Specify this information:
    Job posting rule
    Select the job posting rule.
    Category, Sub category

    If these values exist for the position, then they default on the job posting. If they do not exist, then you should specify them so that the position can be searched by category and location on job postings. You can change these values.

    Work type, Location

    If these values exist for the position, then they default on the job posting. If they do not exist, then you should specify them so that the position can be searched by category and location on job postings. You can change these values.

    Workplace Type

    If these values exist for the position, then they default on the job posting. If they do not exist, then you should specify them so that the position can be searched by category and location on job postings. You can change this value.

    Minimum salary, Maximum salary, Currency, Pay rate type

    Specify this information if you want it to be shown on the job posting.

    If a pay rate type exists, it defaults on the job posting. You can change these values.

  6. Click Next step.
  7. Specify this information:
    Title

    Specify the job title.

    If a title exists on the requisition, it defaults on the job posting. You can change this value.

    Job posting template

    This field is displayed only when you select Use a job posting rule. Select a job posting template.

    If you change the template, you are prompted to regenerate the description.

    Description

    Specify the job description.

    If the requisition already includes a job title and description, the system automatically populates these fields.

  8. Click Next step.
  9. Specify this information:
    Note: Available fields and behavior vary depending on the requisition status and whether the posting was created through a job board or a job posting rule.
    Posting begin date

    Specify the begin date.

    If not specified, the system uses the current date.

    Posting end date

    Specify the end date.

    Would you like to post this job posting after it is created?

    Select Yes, post this job posting after creation or No, I will manually post this later.

  10. Click Create posting.

Auto-posting job postings when a requisition opens

When creating a job posting for a requisition with a status of Pending, On Hold, Closed, or Filled, you can control whether the posting is posted automatically when the requisition becomes open.

  • Select Yes, post this job posting after creation to enable auto-posting.

    When the requisition status changes to Open, the posting is posted automatically, and the begin date is set to the open date.

  • Select No, I will manually post this later to control posting manually.

    An indicator appears in the posting status when auto-posting is enabled. To stop auto-posting, delete the job posting.

    Note: You cannot post job postings while the requisition status is Pending, On Hold, Closed, or Filled.
